George Claffey has been the resident teaching instructor at Miner Hills since 2006.He is a Certified Master Teacher with the United States Golf Federation and has been named as one of the top 100 Professionals by the World Golf Federation.

George has been most successful by assisting golfers of all levels improve every aspect of their game through simplified individual attenetion.His passion to help others through teaching extends to his other roles as a college professor and a coach with the First Tee,Ct.
